HOW IT WORKS
From your first conversation to bringing your baby home.
Every family's journey is different, but most follow the same six stages. Here is what happens at each one, what we take care of, and what we will ask of you.
Typical IVF journey: 2 - 4 months
Typical surrogacy journey: 13 months to birth
Language: Mandarin and English throughout
1
Consultation
About 1–2 weeks
WHAT HAPPENS
A private video call to understand your history, goals, timeline and budget.
WHAT WE HANDLE
We explain your options in plain language and suggest a realistic plan and budget range.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Any past fertility records you have, and your questions.
2
Choosing your team
About 2–4 weeks
WHAT HAPPENS
You choose an IVF clinic and, if needed, a surrogacy or donor agency, an attorney and an escrow company.
WHAT WE HANDLE
We shortlist options, compare published success rates and fees, and join your calls to translate.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Your final decisions. Each provider signs its own agreement with you.
3
Medical preparation and matching
About 3–5 months
WHAT HAPPENS
Medical tests, IVF to create embryos, and matching with an egg donor, sperm donor or surrogate if your plan includes one.
WHAT WE HANDLE
Translating and organizing records, scheduling appointments and travel, and reviewing donor or surrogate profiles with you.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Completing medical tests, and one or more trips to the U.S. if your clinic requires them.
4
Legal agreements and escrow
About 4–8 weeks
WHAT HAPPENS
Your attorney negotiates the surrogacy or donor agreement. Funds are deposited with an independent escrow company.
WHAT WE HANDLE
Coordinating between attorneys, explaining each clause in your language, and tracking every deadline.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Reviewing and signing agreements, and funding escrow. You never pay surrogate costs to us directly.
5
Embryo transfer and pregnancy
About 9–10 months
WHAT HAPPENS
The clinic transfers an embryo. Once pregnancy is confirmed, care moves to the OB.
WHAT WE HANDLE
Translated updates after every appointment, and regular contact with your clinic and agency.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Staying in touch and making decisions when the medical team asks.
6
Birth and going home
About 4–8 weeks after birth
WHAT HAPPENS
Your baby is born. The court issues the parentage order and you apply for a birth certificate and passport.
WHAT WE HANDLE
Hospital planning, your arrival in the U.S., and the documents and appointments needed to travel home.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Being in the U.S. for the birth and the weeks after, as your attorney advises.
